In Old Krispijn, Dordrecht a new town square designed by Carve will be realized soon. Central is a raised area the size of half a football field, including an orchard to be maintained by residents. Around this green area, different play objects will be situated. On our initiative and in collaboration with CBK Dordrecht various offices are involved in the realization of these play objects. After two draft rounds, there are six remaining proposals, five of which eventually will be realized.
The designs likely to be realized are from: JH Mayer (Berlin), Ecosistema Urbano (Madrid), Office for Subversive Architecture (London / Berlin), Raumlabor (Berlin), Fantastic Norway (Oslo) and Onix (Groningen).
